The keyframe saves the value of the text in the timeline at the time when you press it. For reference: You can see a small diamond on the right of “ Positions” after the values. Keyframes are the small diamond shape on the right side of each value. Once you’re satisfied with the text visually you can move to add some cool effects to your text! This is where keyframes come into play!

To make shadows show all you need to do is change the position of the text. If you want to undo everything on a particular setting just hit the restart arrow on the right side. If something happens that isn’t to your liking, you can just Control+Z (Windows) or Command + Z (macOS) to undo what you dislike.
